As the nights draw in and we dust off the tinsel ...

The Bootleg kitchen has been very busy with private parties this month, and we have also catered some amazing parties in unusual places (the top of an unfinished building being just one such venue).
One of these was Japanese-themed canapés party for 100 people and we devised an enticing menu of Eastern-inspired nibbles such as miso aubergine with teriyaki beef, popcorn chicken with sesame spinach and smoked eel with apple and horseradish wrapped in mooli.
So we thought we’d share some pictures of the food and settings that are hallmarks of the Bootleg Banquet and Pestle And Mortar experience.

We travelled to Leigh-on-Sea to surprise a couple on their Ruby wedding anniversary – courtesy of their very thoughtful son, who booked us to serve a silver-service dinner for 15 on a table strewn with rose petals. Romantic and inspired!

Our Cabaret-themed private dinner was a hit with the Hen party set and we even persuaded Durval to glam up for the occasion.

Our orange and black-themed public Halloween evening on October 31 has proved very popular – there are just two tickets left, through Edible Experiences. The menu is detailed below, on our previous post, and you can grab the last available tickets HERE.
We have had a brilliant idea for our next one – a film-themed banquet in November, more info as soon as we finalise the details.

Christmas party bookings are well under way - some dates have proved very popular but we still have availability so please get in touch to book your event with us. We have 3 and 4-course menus to choose from, and good cheer in plentiful supply!
