So in keeping with our first true day of Spring sunshine and in the spirit of quirkiness that has become a byword for MissImmy's blog, I went for a table laid like a wildflower meadow and a menu that celebrated all that is Prima Vera.
Yellow Courgette flowers, soon to be stuffed with Peas, mint, Ricotta and (just a dollop of clotted cream), fried and seasoned. So, so good and a real attention grabber.
First course of parsley salad with steamed asparagus, Chorizo and queen scallops.
Main course of Moorish Lamb kebab with chickpeas, roast butternut, beetroot and a dressing of mint, chive, smoked paprika and honey.
