I've been thinking...

A bald hedgehog arrived at our front door the other day.
And in other news, this wonderful, massive piece of street art now adorns our entrance on Chance Street.

So things have been quiet on the blog front and you may have noticed, we havn't posted any new dinners for a while.
Which is not to say we have disappeared off the scene. While I have decided to take a break from regular nights for a while to rethink our concept, we've been very busy hosting private parties during May. Just last week we had a group of lovely creatives from Advertising Giant AKQA here for an "alternative taste of London" night and here is what one guests wrote: "Honestly probably one of my best dining experiences ever!" Thanks Lucy for choosing us for your night!
I'm just busy prepping up for Sarah's Hen night tomorrow night themed around the Maharaja's Banquet in Indiana Jones "Temple of Doom" where I will recreate my famous eye-ball soup.

Then, next weekend I'm hosting a special birthday dinner for Food Blogger Supremo Miss Immy, following a dinner for my good friend, blogger and regular super customer Sonia, who has very kindly monopolized my only May public date on Friday 11th. Currently we still have around 6 places left, so if you feel like gate crashing and joining in the fun, here's the menu:

Prosecco

*

Warm salad of asparagus, chorizo and queen scallops with crispy onions and fried parsley
Warm salad of asparagus, broad beans and croutons with crispy onions and fried parsley - V

*

Courgette blossom stuffed with peas, mint, Ricotta and lemon zest
Courgette and sage fritti, sea salt and lemon

*

Char grilled Moorish lamb skewers
Marinated field mushroom skewers
Roast tomatoes, chickpeas and greens
Garlic tahini sauce

*

strawberries in jelly with vanilla mascarpone

*

mint tea
coffee

So - as you can see, busy busy busy!
Keep an eye out for new dates in June and hopefully, some new dinner concepts for summer.
Thanks again for all of you who support our marvelous little bit of food heaven. We love cooking for you.
